KidTown, the children's ministry at RiverTown, seeks to partner with families
in the discipleship, growth and nurture of their children.
In our Sunday gatherings, kids —kindergarten through 5th grade— are grounded in the gospel, grown in grace, taught God's Word, and led to be leaders in a safe, fun, and age-appropriate way! Elementary age children participate in KidTown on Sundays during the second half of our 10:30am service, after first participating in worship with their families.
This strategy is the best of both worlds when it comes to church.
It is based on two beliefs. First, we believe that too many forces in our culture separate families, and that church should not be one of those forces. Simply put, churches should bring families together. Secondly, we believe that kids should learn and be taught in safe, fun and age-appropriate environments.
Our Sunday environments crafted for kids accomplishes both of these.
Kids are brought together with their parents in the first half of the service, and then enjoy a lesson in a fun, Jesus-focused environment during the second half of the service.
At the begininng of your Sunday visit, simply register your child(ren) at the children's ministry kiosk you will see in our lobby, just outside our auditorium.
You will be given a security sticker that will allow you to be the only one to check
your child(ren) out of KidTown at the end of the service.
Your child will be dismissed for KidTown halfway through the service, and will only be admitted to KidTown with a security sticker that will serve as your child's "ticket" in and out of KidTown.
